Connecticut High School Basketball - Old Lyme thwarts Westbrook
February 6, 2023: Old Lyme, CT 06371 The Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), 46-33 in Monday's league test.
The Wildcats (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Putnam (Putnam, CT). The Clippers go into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Putnam notched a victory over Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT), 61-46, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 0-18 record. They play next when they host Portland for a Shoreline test on Friday, February 10. Westbrook will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 64-46 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-4.
