Indiana High School Basketball - Batesville nips East Central

Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 64-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Batesville upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Franklin County (Brookville, IN) to play the Wildcats in a Eastern Indiana bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Franklin County lost 57-39 in their recent non-league bout against Centerville (Centerville, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 17. East Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record.
