Massachusetts High School Basketball - Needham nips Walpole

February 11, 2022: Walpole, MA 02081

Needham Rockets (Needham, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Walpole Rebels (Walpole, MA), 47-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Needham upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Rockets host Brookline (Brookline, MA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-2. Brookline won 65-46 in their recent non-league bout against Wellesley (Wellesley, MA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) in a Bay State - Herget bout, on Tuesday, February 15. Walpole will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Wamps come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 58-56 non-league loss to Framingham (Framingham, MA).
