The Anson Bearcats bounced the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets basketball squad by a final score of 74-48 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Bearcats clash with the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, February 13. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Comets go into the contest with a 19-4 record after their 86-52 league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC).
