South Dakota High School Basketball - Riggs crushes Brookings
February 14, 2023: Pierre, SD 57501 Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD), 73-43 in a league bout.
With the victory, Riggs upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Governors travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD) to play the Kernels in a AA bout on Thursday, February 16. The Kernels come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Mitchell lost 47-42 in their recent league bout against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) in a AA bout, on Friday, February 17. Brookings will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 60-57 league loss to Huron (Huron, SD).
