Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), 68-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest Guilford upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Whirlies in a 4A Conference 55 bout on Thursday, February 16. The Whirlies go into the bout with a record of 21-4. Grimsley won 80-30 in their recent league bout against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
