North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Guilford nudges Ragsdale

January 13, 2023: High Point, NC 27265

Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), 74-71 in a league bout.

With the win, Southwest Guilford upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a 4A Conference 55 bout on Friday, January 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-9.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Ragsdale will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 61-59 league win over Morehead (Eden, NC).
