North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwest Guilford crushes Western Guilford

December 16, 2022: High Point, NC 27265

Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 86-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southwest Guilford upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 4-2. T.W. Andrews won 81-38 in their recent league bout against McMichael (Mayodan, NC)

Next up, the Hornets play the Burlington Christian Academy Royals (Burlington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 26. Western Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 80-35 league win over O'Neal (Southern Pines, NC).
