Connecticut High School Basketball - Ansonia nips Wolcott
February 14, 2024: Ansonia, CT 06401 Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wolcott Eagles (Wolcott, CT), 61-58 in a league bout.
With the win, Ansonia upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Chargers travel to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT) to play the Falcons in a Naugatuck Valley 2 bout on Friday, February 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-7.
Next up, the Eagles play the Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley 2 bout, on Friday, February 16. Wolcott will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 85-51 league win over Ansonia (Ansonia, CT).
