The Capital Cougars basketball squad (Charleston, WV), was crushed 83-52 in Friday's league battle with the host Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV)

With the victory, Spring Valley advances its record to 16-1 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Winfield (Winfield, WV) to meet the Generals in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 15. The Generals enter the battle with a record of 10-5. Winfield won 58-41 in their recent non-league battle against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV)
