The Lake Central Indians basketball squad (St. John, IN), was nudged 65-58 in Friday's league battle with the host Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN)

With the victory, Michigan City advances its record to 13-9 on the year. The Wolves travel to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN) to meet the Pirates in a Duneland battle on Friday, February 21. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 4-16.

The Indians now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 18. Lake Central will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 64-58 non-league loss to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 9-11.
