Indiana High School Basketball - La Porte holds off Lake Central

January 10, 2025: St. John, IN 46373

In Friday's league contest, the visiting La Porte Slicers basketball team scored a close 65-60 triumph over the Lake Central Indians.

The Slicers (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Trojans go into the Duneland contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Chesterton nipped Merrillville (Merrillville, IN), 47-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians confront the Harrison Raiders (West Lafayette, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Lake Central will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 62-61 non-league win over West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN).
