The Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN), 88-78 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Panthers (7-14) will now prepare for their test against Osseo (Osseo, MN). The Orioles go into the AAAA Section 5 test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Osseo notched a victory over Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN), 55-49, in a non-league test.

The Bengals now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a AAAA Section 7 test on Friday, February 17. Blaine will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 81-74 league loss to Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 4-16.
