The River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), 56-53 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Ingots (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Senators go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Washington Township got by Whiting (Whiting, IN), 52-49, in a non-league test.

The Red Devils now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Kouts for a non-league test on Saturday, February 17. Lowell will encounter a Mustangs & Fillies squad coming off a 69-54 league win over Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN). The Mustangs & Fillies record now stands at 8-10.
