February 17, 2025: Georgetown, KY 40324 Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY), 79-73 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Scott County advances its record to 6-18 on the year. The Cardinals travel to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 23-4. The Bulldogs now own a 5-23 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henry Clay for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Paul Laurence Dunbar will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 57-54 league loss to Sayre (Lexington, KY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 18-7.
