Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Covington Chargers (Covington, TN), 44-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Millington Central upgrades its record to 18-8 on the campaign. The Trojans host Kirby (Memphis, TN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-17.

Next up, the Chargers play the Hamilton Wildcats (Memphis, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 13-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 52-49 league win over Melrose (Memphis, TN).
