Michigan High School Basketball - Springport nips Quincy

February 22, 2024: Quincy, MI 49082

Springport Spartans (Springport, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI), 46-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Springport upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Napoleon (Napoleon, MI) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 28. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 20-3.

Next up, the Orioles play the Union City Chargers (Union City, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 26. Quincy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 69-52 league loss to Concord (Concord, MI).
