The Spring Lions softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Benjamin Davis Falcons to 0 in the Lions league win on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Eisenhower for a 6A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, March 3. Spring will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.

The Falcons (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Nimitz (Houston, TX). The Cougars enter the 6A Region II District 14 challenge with a 2-7 record.
