Alaska High School Basketball - South Anchorage falls to Service
February 28, 2023: Anchorage, AK 99516 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Service Cougars basketball team scored a good 37-28 triumph over the South Anchorage Wolverines.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet match, on Friday, March 3. Service will attempt to better on its 15-8 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the match with a 20-3 record after their 41-38 league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK).
With the defeat, South Anchorage moves to 6-15 on the year. The Wolverines host Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to meet the Wolves in a 4A Cook Inlet match on Friday, March 3. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 2-17. Eagle River lost 54-50 in their recent league match against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)
