December 29, 2022: Juneau, AK 99801 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK) and the visiting South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK), saw Juneau-Douglas's basketball squad overcome South Anchorage by a tally of 67-52.
With the victory, Juneau-Douglas improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Crimson Bears host West Valley (Fairbanks, AK) to confront the Wolf Pack in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Wolf Pack come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. West Valley won 63-35 in their recent league challenge against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. South Anchorage will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 82-59 non-league loss to Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK).
