The First Flight Nighthawks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Holmes Aces to 4 in the Nighthawks non-league win on Monday.

The Nighthawks now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perquimans County for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 4. First Flight will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.

The Aces (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights come into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Currituck County tipped Camden County (Camden, NC), 6-5, in a non-league outing.
