The Alleghany Trojans baseball team (Sparta, NC), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Friday's league outing with the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC)

The Sauras now hold a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Airy for a Northwest 1A outing on Tuesday, March 22. South Stokes will confront a Granite Bears team coming off a 5-1 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 6-3.

Next, the Trojans confront the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 22. Alleghany will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 3-5 record after their 9-5 league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC).
