South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), 8-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Stokes upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Sauras host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, May 5. The Rams come into the test with a record of 11-13. Starmount won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC)

With the defeat, North Stokes falls to 12-13 on the season.
