In Tuesday's league game, the host Alexander Central Cougars baseball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Ashe County Huskies.

The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers go into the game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Watauga knocked off South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 8-0, in a league game.

Next, the Huskies play the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 21. Ashe County will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
