The Greene Central Rams baseball squad (Snow Hill, NC), was edged 3-2 in Friday's league contest with the host SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC)

With the triumph, SouthWest Edgecombe moves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Cougars host North Pitt (Bethel, NC) to confront the Panthers in a Eastern Plains 2A contest on Tuesday, March 25. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 2-6. North Pitt lost 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC)

The Rams now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ayden - Grifton for a Eastern Plains 2A contest on Tuesday, March 25.
