The Watauga Pioneers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host St. Stephens Indians to 2 in the Pioneers league win on Friday.

The Pioneers now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host West Forsyth for a non-league test on Monday, March 30. Watauga will clash with a Titans team coming off a 8-7 league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Titans record now stands at 10-2.

The Indians (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Pride go into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Pine Lake Prep edged Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 12-1, in a league bout.
