The crowd at Friday's league bout between the MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) and the visiting Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX), observed MacArthur's softball team get by Nimitz by a tally of 11-4.

The Generals (16-11) will now prepare for their bout against Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region II District 14 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Eisenhower nudged Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX), 17-2, in a league contest.

The Cougars now hold a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Aldine for a 6A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, March 31. Nimitz will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 25-11 league win over Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-16.
