Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), 9-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Globe moves its record to 5-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to ALA - Mesa North (Mesa, AZ) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league match on Monday, April 6. The Mavericks go into the game with a record of 5-7. ALA - Mesa North won 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ)

Next, the Prospectors play the Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) in a 3A Central game, on Tuesday, April 7. Apache Junction will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 6-7 record after their 9-5 league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).
