The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains softball squad (Bascom, OH), was routed 5-2 in Wednesday's league contest with the host New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH)

With the triumph, New Riegel improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Blue Jackets host Calvert (Tiffin, OH) to face the Senecas in a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Monday, April 14. The Senecas enter the contest with a record of 7-1.
