The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains triumphed over the host Old Fort Stockaders softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Chieftains play the St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks (Fremont, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge, on Wednesday, May 7. Hopewell-Loudon will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Crimson Streaks enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 11-1 league loss to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH).

The Stockaders (2-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakota (Kansas, OH). The Raiders enter the Sandusky Bay - River challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Lakota was routed by New Riegel (New Riegel, OH), 4-1, in a league bout.
