In Tuesday's league test, the West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN), by a tally of 9-4.

Next, the Red Devils clash with the Clinton Central Bulldogs (Michigantown, IN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 17. West Lafayette will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN).

The Bison (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN). The Bombers go into the Hoosier test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Rensselaer Central was routed by West Central (Francesville, IN), 8-2, in a non-league test.
