The Nimitz Cougars softball squad (Houston, TX), was routed 16-1 in Thursday's league contest with the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX)

With the triumph, Spring improves its record to 16-9 on the year. The Lions travel to Aldine (Houston, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, April 17. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 9-18. Aldine lost 21-13 in their recent league contest against Eisenhower (Houston, TX)
