Tennessee High School Softball - Briarcrest Christian drops to Northpoint Christian

Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), 16-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Northpoint Christian improves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Harding Academy (Memphis, TN) to face the Lions in a D II-A West 6 game on Tuesday, April 22. The Lions enter the game with a record of 2-4.

The Saints now hold a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Millington Central for a non-league game on Monday, April 21. Briarcrest Christian will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Brighton (Brighton, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 11-12.
