The Millington Central Trojans softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Northpoint Christian Trojans to 7 in the Trojans non-league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Raleigh-Egypt for a 3A District 15 battle on Monday, April 28. Millington Central will encounter a Pharaohs team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Brighton (Brighton, TN). The Pharaohs record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Northpoint Christian moves to 17-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Munford (Munford, TN) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, April 25.
