In Friday's league match, the host Rensselaer Central Bombers softball team scored a nice 15-4 win over the Benton Central Bison.

The Bombers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN). The Indians come into the Hoosier match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Twin Lakes notched a victory over Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN), 20-10, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bison battle the McCutcheon Mavericks (Lafayette, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 22. Benton Central will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
