Sandy Creek Comets (Sandy Creek, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Thousand Islands Vikings (Clayton, NY), 6-3 in a league challenge.

The Comets now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cicero-North Syracuse for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Sandy Creek will face a Northstars squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY). The Northstars record now stands at 1-5.
