The Union Area Scotties triumphed over the host South Side Rams softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Scotties meet the Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 1 challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Union Area will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 18-0 league loss to Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA).
