The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) and the visiting Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA), saw Mid Valley's baseball team gain a win over Old Forge by a tally of 5-3.

The Spartans (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Bucks enter the Lackawanna 2 battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Dunmore held off Honesdale (Honesdale, PA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Blue Devils face the Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 battle, on Monday, April 28. Old Forge will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-8 record after their 10-0 league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA).
