The crowd at Friday's league battle between the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) and the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), saw River Valley's baseball team gain a win over Purchase Line by a tally of 4-1.

The Panthers (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Penns Manor (Clymer, PA). The Comets enter the Heritage battle with a 2-9 record.

Next, the Red Dragons face the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a Heritage battle, on Monday, April 28. Purchase Line will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 9-5 league win over Marion Center (Marion Center, PA).
