The Marion Center Stingers baseball squad (Marion Center, PA), 11-9 in Monday's league contest with the host River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA)

With the triumph, River Valley moves its record to 3-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Purchase Line (Commodore, PA) to confront the Red Dragons in a Heritage contest on Wednesday, April 23. The Red Dragons come into the contest with a record of 2-9. Purchase Line lost 15-1 in their recent league bout against Homer-Center (Homer City, PA)

The Stingers (1-9) will now prepare for their bout against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA). The Wolves enter the Heritage bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, West Shamokin edged United (Armagh, PA), 10-9, in a league bout.
