Pennsylvania High School Baseball - West Shamokin holds off Marion Center

In Thursday's league game, the host West Shamokin Wolves baseball team scored a close 9-5 victory over the Marion Center Stingers.

The Wolves (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA). The Red Dragons enter the Heritage game with a 3-10 record. In their last game, Purchase Line was overwhelmed by River Valley (Blairsville, PA), 4-1, in a league game.

Next, the Stingers face the Kiski School Cougars (Saltsburg, PA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 28. Marion Center will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Hill School (Pottstown, PA).
