May 1, 2025: Hamlin, WV 25523 The Capital Cougars baseball squad (Charleston, WV), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV)
With the triumph, Lincoln County moves its record to 12-9 on the season. The Panthers host Hannan (Ashton, WV) to confront the Wildcats in a Freelance contest on Friday, May 2. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-12. Hannan lost 12-5 in their recent non-league contest against Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV)
The Cougars now possess a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Charleston for a Mountain State contest on Monday, May 5. Capital will confront a Black Eagles squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 9-14.
