The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) and the visiting Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), saw Christopher's baseball team gain a win over Leigh by a tally of 4-1.

The Cougars (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Branham (San Jose, CA). The Bruins enter the Mount Hamilton battle with a 7-13 record. In their last battle, Branham held off Pioneer (San Jose, CA), 11-8, in a league battle.
