May 5, 2025: Indian Trail, NC 28079

In Monday's league test, the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), by a count of 18-5.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River test, on Wednesday, May 7. Sun Valley will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Cavaliers enter the test with a 8-11 record after their 19-4 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).

The Pirates (0-13) will now prepare for their test against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Marvin Ridge was overwhelmed by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 16-5, in a league test.
