The Elwood Panthers softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Tipton Blue Devils to 7 in the Panthers non-league win on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. Elwood will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Taylor (Kokomo, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Tipton moves to 4-10 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Northwestern (Kokomo, IN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 4-10. Northwestern lost 13-6 in their recent non-league battle against Tri-County (Wolcott, IN)
