The Hersey Huskies overwhelmed the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a Mid-Suburban East challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Hersey will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Bison go into the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Lake Park (Roselle, IL).

The Mustangs (8-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers go into the Mid-Suburban East challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Elk Grove was routed by Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 10-4, in a league challenge.
