The South Adams Starfires softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Adams Central Flying Jets to 5 in the Starfires non-league win on Monday.

The Starfires now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitko for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 29. South Adams will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 5-1 league win over Peru (Peru, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Adams Central moves to 4-19 on the season.
