Georgia High School Softball - Thomas County Central bounces Cairo
August 19, 2024: Thomasville, GA 31792 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) and the visiting Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA), observed Thomas County Central's softball team prevail over Cairo by a tally of 10-2.
The Yellow Jackets (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Northside (Warner Robins, GA). The Eagles go into the 5A Region 2 bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Northside was routed by Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Syrupmakers clash with the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, August 21. Cairo will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 5-2 league win over Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA).
