Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) and the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), saw Holmes's volleyball squad notch a victory over Currituck County by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Holmes improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Aces host Washington (Washington, NC) to encounter the Pam Pack in a non-league battle on Monday, August 25.
