North Carolina High School Volleyball - Holmes over First Flight

September 15, 2025: Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948

In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Holmes Aces volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the First Flight Nighthawks.

The Aces (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Bertie lost by Manteo (Manteo, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks meet the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. First Flight will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC).
